Using the correct hair care products

If you are not using the correct products for your service we can not guarantee your result * This is always a feature of our work that is looked upon as “selling” we as stylists “recommend” products for a few reasons:
a) SOME products REACT with our products …. substandard shampoos oils etc can cause a chemical reaction when an activator comes in contact with it … this is why we ask questions like “what have you been using on your hair?”
b)you have just paid anywhere from $100 to $500 for a service and you are going to look after it with $10 shampoo ….. I think not …. if your mechanic said you need to use a specific oil for your Ferrari that may cost you $100 are you going to go to woolies and get a $10 one …. I think not
c) some services NEED the correct shampoo to be used to keep the service working to its best ability eg. Smoothing treatments …. yes the shampoo is $39.95 + BUT your hair NEEDS it to help the bonds that have just been re-bonded …. If your dentist told you that your teeth had to have a specific toothpaste but it costs $30 or your teeth will fall out (im exagerating here) would you still get the $4.95 one from coles ….. I think not ….
So in short …. we are not “selling ” you things to make a huge profit…. we are doing it for your own good …..
